As this blog has established...Miss V is curious about pretty much everything; especially if it's something that Mom or Dad is doing/has. She's 18 months going on 18. What does Mom carry a lot and take things in and out of? Her purse of course! Her interest started at the grocery store checkout when I would get my wallet and credit card out. She liked to hold the wallet while I paid. Once she figured out she could open it and take things out it became a great toy. That led to a whole purse obsession. Tic Tacs and sunglasses are her favorite. She even completely bent my sunglasses enough that I had to go get them fixed at Target!

During her 18 month well visit at the doctor, V literally took everything single thing out of my purse and every credit card out of my wallet while I was getting info on potty training and upcoming terrible twos (ironic!). It was then I decided it was time to get out her play purse we got as a shower gift. It opens and closes, lights up and plays music so I knew it would be a hit.

V had to also practice walking and carrying her purse at the same time. There were many stops for additional treasure finding and purse dumping.

It's safe to say V may become a shopper/purse collector! She is a Merry/Becker girl after all... :)
